Our story

Why Ascend exists

I noticed a pattern in the women of my family tree: overextending, pouring from an empty cup, losing touch with personal joy. Then I saw myself following the same pattern, and I decided I no longer wanted to take part in the cycle.

When I talked with other women, I learned it's a shared feeling. So many of us need a safe place to exhale.

Ascend began with natural products made to comfort women's bodies. The more I listened, the more I saw that women also need community, and knowledge and resources that empower. So I'm drawing on my history and ancestral wisdom, and on Afro-diasporic and Caribbean traditions of unity and shared care, to build a future that reconnects us to nature, to ourselves and to one another.

    Women's circles and creative gatherings with conversation, journaling and setting an intention. Dates are shared by email.

  • Learn and talk

    Plain-language conversations about our bodies, our cycles and how we get through tired seasons. General information, not medical advice.

    Small-batch oils, soaks and gifts, made to comfort.
